Four years after it launched, we decided to check out Hilton's first, and only, vegan hotel suite.
Created following guest feedback, the vegan suite at Hilton Bankside in London offers a complete vegan experience, from the check-in desk and keycard to the bedding, toiletries, and in-room dining options.
The suite was designed by Bompas & Parr using plant-based materials, creating a boutique and sustainable feel, and approval from The Vegan Society.
Some of the vegan-friendly material used in the suite include:
Headboard made from pineapple leaves
Bamboo floor
Eco-friendly bamboo linen bedding
Vegan pillow menu with buckwheat and millet-filled options
Soy silk drapes
Prija vegan toiletries in recycled containers
Vegan mini bar selection and in-room dining menu
The design prioritizes guest experience with features like:
Plant-based check-in desk and keycard
Vegan-friendly bedding and eco-cotton carpet
Redesigned in-room menu with various vegan breakfast, lunch, and dinner options
