Beyond Leather Teams Up with Manufacturer to Produce First Chairs Upholstered with LEAP Material

Beyond Leather, the B2B supplier of the “Leap” next-gen material made from leftover apples, has collaborated with the Danish furniture manufacturer TAKT to produce the first chair upholstered with Leap.

TAKT is offering Leap upholstery as on option on 8 of its chairs, including the best-selling Cross Chair. Choosing the Leap option cuts the climate impact of the chair by 53% compared to using the animal-leather version.

The Leap chairs are EU Eco Label certified, and won’t cost more than the other options.
